ARCHIVE EPISODE: David Godlis, aka Godlis, is one of the cornerstones documenting the punk music, no wave and street life of New York City in the late 1970s and 1980s sat down (literally) with Elena and Joe in an SUV in NYC to talk about his work and the scene as he experienced it. We chatted about his then new installation/exhibition (at 72 Gallery) we were also covering his incredible book History is Made at Night. Since the original interview he has released additional amazing photo collections such as Godlis Streets, and Goldis Miami (covering his experience in 1974), and numerous exhibitions. 10FPS is doing a Summer of Punk Music so look for a bunch of new and re-released episodes with the likes of Roberta Bayley, Julia Gorton, Josh Sisk, Farrah Skeiky… stay tuned!
