ARCHIVE EPISODE: Today we chat with A. D. Coleman, photography critic and historian, about the history, legacy and controversy of the famous Robert Capa.  Known for his groundbreaking photography of the D-Day invasion in 1944, Capa is considered one the most important photographers of World War II.  Coleman has spent countless hours researching and discussing the very few photos of Capa’s Normandy landing as part of the Robert Capa D-Day Project.  The Project won and was nominated for many awards in 2014-16.  There are a lot more questions than answers and some concerns about authenticity of the stories around these photos.  Tune in for some big revelations and dig deeper on Coleman’s website filled with highly detailed explorations of every photo.

This is an archive episode with hosts Joe Giordano and Elena Volkova originally released in 2018.
